13. Sarajevo Business Forum
Sarajevo Business forumu.
Vsi deležniki, zlasti v BiH, imajo priložnost in odgovornost, da z reformami končno pripeljejo BiH in regijo v EU.’’
Former President Borut Pahor was a guest and keynote speaker at the 13th Sarajevo Business Forum. In his opening remarks, the Prime Minister of Bosnia and Herzegovina expressed gratitude for Pahor's personal contribution to granting BiH candidate status and initiating negotiations with the European Union. Prime Minister Nermin Nikšić recalled the astonishment of the audience when, at the 11th SBF in 2022, Pahor first publicly proposed the unconditional granting of candidate status to BiH and the initiation of accession talks. He emphasized that this was the only way to immediately provide BiH with a clear European perspective and contribute to stabilizing the region—a vision that has since materialized.
In his speech at the forum’s opening panel on the region’s future challenges, Pahor, founder and director of FoWB stated that we are witnessing a historic moment for BiH and the region. ‘‘The start of BiH's negotiations for EU membership is the greatest, paradigmatic change in the circumstances of the country and the region. All stakeholders, especially in BiH, have the opportunity and responsibility to finally bring BiH and the region into the EU through reforms.’’
